In this project I was solving the problem I have in my room of just throwing my jewelry on my dresser and then getting it all tangled up. This is an object design solve problem. Some objaes I've had with this problem was that the tree was really heavy and u had a hard time getting it to stay up in the box and not fatally over.
I Developed My Art Making Skills
In this project I learned some new techniques that I hadn't ever used before. To make the tree I had to wrap and twist wire together to make the shape and it was actually kind of hard. And then I used plaster strips to wrap around which was also different but fun. I also gained some more skill with paints. When I painted the tree I tried to make the tree look like it had some sort of bark texture.
I Take Risks
For this project I wasn't so sure about using plaster for the tree because I thought it might not stand up and be too heavy or it would break apart when I tried to use it, but I used the plaster anyway and I think it turned out pretty good. I was going to use clay because that was what I was familiar with but in the end I went with plaster instead.
